Petaluma Basin

Early Sunday morning walk, that gave me a new sight into the Petaluma Basin. A peaceful serenity that is not seen during the daytime. The river runs adjacent to the downtown area, with plenty of visual sights.

Still Finding some of the history around San Francisco, Walking around the city still brings back feelings of the past. Some of you may recognize these sites, and some may have never seen them before.

Early morning photos of San Francisco, as viewed from the city itself. Working with a hazy morning light, this gave me a challenge of trying to capture the bright lights and the dark shadows.

Working with Light

I have given myself some lighting challenges, on this assignment. Trying to get all the shades starting from black and ending up with white. Since working with digital is some what different than print film, I am finding it a real challenge and at the same time an enjoyment in the process.
